The largest number of Ferrari on the anniversary of 2012

In Great Britain Ferrari owners are planning to set a record in the number of Ferrari F40 gathered in one place in a time.

Sure you have not seen so many Ferrari before!

The club’s coordinator Nigel Chiltern-Hunt was surprised that he could easily find 50 Ferrari F40 owners and persuaded them to join the anniversary record setting. He is sure that this F40 gathering will be the largest in world’s history. The record now belongs to 2007th anniversary, when about 35 F40 were gathered in Silverstone. The photo of this record is set above. Ferrari F40 was introduced in 1987 and had a twin-turbo V8-engine with 480 hp and was the first car in the world to reach 200 mph. There are only 1,300 F40 in the world, and at least 50 of them we will be able to see in Silverstone this year. Silverstone is not a random place to celebrate Ferrari’s anniversary. It is chosen because of the first Ferrari’s victory in British Grand-Prix. SO it is not an astonishing fact that many celebrities are attracted by this brand with such a fabulous history. And the planned anniversary record is another acknowledgment of undying interest to Ferrari.
